At HASCO, employee expertise is a top priority. Regular training sessions – both internal and external – are an integral part of professional development. One such initiative took place at the Primaform Academy in Thun, Switzerland.
Mario Rödhamer, Head of Business Development Management at HASCO Austria, set out to achieve two goals at once: further training for the sales team and strengthening team spirit. The concept behind the Primaform Academy – hands-on training combined with active team-building – immediately won him over.
Over two days, HASCO’s technical sales team gathered at Primaform’s facility in Thun, Switzerland. The custom-designed program, developed specifically for HASCO by the Primaform Academy, included in-depth training on the analysis and optimization of assemblies, ensuring smooth and reliable functionality.
Participants also gained insights into simulation tools used to predict product behavior under various conditions. Learning theory and then directly applying it as a team is not only fun, but also strengthens collaboration. Participants had the opportunity to work on real components in a production setting, putting their knowledge to the test in an interactive environment.
The experience concluded in the technical center, where they operated an injection molding machine and witnessed firsthand how temperature, pressure, and timing influence the final molded part.
Beyond technical training, team building was at the heart of these days. With his background in sports, Stefan Huber, CEO of Primaform AG, knows exactly how to promote interdisciplinary collaboration. The event was rounded off with an exciting evening program, which the HASCO team thoroughly enjoyed.
